Inclusive Fashion Week 2021 shows – Bold Shapes

Inclusive Fashion Week 2021 shows

The Fashion Week , the event with a capital E not to be missed if you are a fan of fashion. Unfortunately, it is only too little associated with the diversity et al' inclusiveness . Whether in terms of age, color or even morphology, the difference is gradually making its way into the catwalks. But I must say that the c Spring-Summer 2022 collections revealed some nice surprises.

So we start with the brand Ester Manas , and we can say that their first physical show was a real success! With a spring-summer collection called Dress Different, the young house is surrounded by models with various silhouettes, preferring to reveal them sensually to better showcase them. The whole world of Ester Manas asserts itself with this parade. Indeed, this young house started in 2019, with this desire to offer inclusive fashion, with sizes from 34 to 50, and sustainable. A breath of fresh air blew over Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, October 02! !

And a little Bold Shapes detail: the mannequin Andrea Boutin (left) has already shot for our brand. You can find her on her Instagram @andreaboutin . Go quickly take a look, his photos are beautiful!

If in Paris, Ester Manas conquered the public, some houses seized the opportunity of inclusive parades around the world. In New York, no less than 48 plus-size models paraded. A giant leap from the Fall / Winter 2021 shows, which had just six plus-size models in New York City.

We include in particular Christian Siriano , whose colorful catwalk showcased eight plus-size silhouettes. Inspired by the photographs of his grandmother on vacation in Positano, Christian Siriano reveals a romantic and powerful collection, just like Italian women.

This show, which took place at Gotham Hall in New York, ended with the presentation of her future collaboration with Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans.

We are already thinking of sunny holidays with the collection of Chromat in collaboration with Tourmaline ! On Jacob Riis Beach, it was a parade of red that blew the audience away! Did you recognize the reference to the famous beach lifeguards? And a little bonus: inclusiveness is all the more important, since Chromat has made it a point of honor to celebrate all body types and the LGBTQIA + cause. It is therefore models from all walks of life who presented this collection, proving that fashion is there to embellish everyone, without distinction..

And to finish in style, I offer you a little focus on the personality who has established himself on the catwalks: the model Precious Lee . Here it is on all fronts in September. From Balamin to Moshino, here are some looks:

The parade of Christian Siriano where she opens the ball with this superb mustard yellow pantsuit. Precious is also the closure with this top and skirt set in warm colors.

Total change of universe with that of Moschino . thegirly is felt with this pastel trench coat with cheerful details. Add to that the 60 ′ touch of this voluminous hairstyle and you have a jaw-dropping look.

Festive spirit with this golden dress, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Olivier Rousteing, artistic director of the brand Balmain .

Make way for sobriety and elegance with this pale blue strapless dress from the house Staud , simply accompanied by pumps and a thin white belt. I don't know about you but I love it!
